Hair follicle :

A hair follicle is actually one of the most important parts of the skin of human and animal body whose job it is to create hair. Hair follicles are tube-shaped bag in which the hair takes root and then grows longer and eventually emerges from the scalp.

1.Hair types

hair color (blonde, red, brown, gray, black)
geometrical features ( straight, curly, wavy, buzz)
amount of fat in scalp ( normal, dry, greasy)

2.Hair diseases

hair whitening
hair leprosy
seborrheic dermatitis
hair dandruff
hair loss
alopecia aerate

3.Hair transplant methods

follicular unit extraction (FUE)
follicular unit transplantation (FUT)

4.Causes of hair loss

over stretching
diets
inheritance
stress
hormonal changes
burns and surgeries

Hair growth takes place in several stages:

At first, the hair grows longer and longer (Anagen).
Hair growth stop stage (Catagen).
Hair relaxation phase (Telogen).
Hair follicles play a very important role in hair growth and shape. In fact, people with different races of black, white and yellow skin, as well as hair types, have different hair follicles. Follicles are made up of skin cells that make up the hair follicles and make the hair follicles. These hair roots are nourished by small bumps called “pacifiers” and receive enough nutrients for hair growth.
Basically, each hair follicle has different sections called epithelial and mesenchymal. These two parts are fundamentally different from each other: the cells of the epithelium are divided and thus from the upper and permanent parts of the hair.
But the lower parts create hair follicles, which is the basic and very important part of the hair structure. There are also melanocytes in this section, whose job is to produce hair pigments. These pigments are then transferred to the main hair cells.

Hair follicle

Hair follicle structure:

Papila:

this part is actually in the form of capillary rings, the shape of which is actually like a strong texture. Usually, cell division does not occur very rarely or not at all in this area.

Root sheath:

this section basically has two parts, internal and external. The outer part of the root sheath appears as cube-shaped cells when the hematoxylin and eosin staining process takes place in the hair follicles.

On the other hand, the inner part of this sheath consists of three parts:

Henel layer:

the third inner layer is the root sheath, which is made up of cubic cells containing flat nuclei.

Huxley layer:

this is the second layer of this section that contains flat cells and polarized bases.

Cuticle:

this part is attached to the outermost part of the hair.

Bulge:

this part is actually located on the outer part of the hair follicle sheath and right next to the pili muscle. It is also one of the most important and vital parts of the hair.

Cup:

this part, also called infundibulum in medical science, grows hair follicles.

Sebaceous glands :

it is responsible for creating fat around the hair strands, which is actually an oily substance and it is useful for protecting and keeping hair and even the scalp soft. Naturally, the higher the density of the hair, the greater the number of sebaceous glands in the hair.

Sensory hair follicle receptors:

these receptors actually sense the position and direction of the hair.
