Preoperative care :

Due to the sensitivity of natural hair transplants and the problems that may arise later. It’s recommended that is done by a dermatologist as long as the dermatologist has the scientific and practical competence to perform hair transplants. And you must observe preoperative care.

over stretching
diets
inheritance
stress
hormonal changes
burns and surgeries

Preoperative actions:

Careful consultation.
Requested tests such as blood coagulation, hepatitis and AIDS.
If you have an underlying disease like diabetes, a blood glucose test should also be performed.
Specify patient’s specific diseases in the consultation sheet.
Patients who are suspected of having heart disease need counseling about heart.
Tell your doctor if you are taking medication.
Quit smoking from three days before surgery to 10 days after that.
Preoperative patient pictures should be taken in at least seven different directions.

Pre-operative night commands:

Having dinner as usual
Head wash with a mixture of betadine and shampoo the night before surgery.
Use a sedative if you have stress the night before surgery.

Pre-operative morning commands:

Having breakfast as usual.
On time attendance at the clinic.

Intraoperative actions:

As was said before with a good sedation, this is an easy 8 hour time for patient. Hair transplantation does not require general anesthesia and is an outpatient procedure.
The process is divided in to four stages:
The bar harvesting step in FUT method and harvesting grafts by punch in FUE method.
Split the strip removed in FUT method.
Create a planting site.
Placement and implantation of grafts divided into their place.

Postoperative actions:

After the operation, patient is sent home with bandage. Like other operations, hair transplantation should have a bandage after surgery. Post-implantation bandage is performed because grafts are likely to be removed up to 3 days after implantation. Also bandage should be opened once a day and washed. From the third day the hair transplantation area can be without bandage. It is enough to shower once a day for up to 7 days after opening the bandage. And wash the planting area with BETADINE, water and shampoo and without grafting on implanted grafts and dry very slowly.
